6 to 13 August 2023
The Symphony Orchestra has for many years been one of our most popular and successful
courses. This year repertoire will centre around masterpieces of the 19th and 20th
centuries and include both familiar and not so familiar works by Rachmaninoff, Bliss,
Nielsen, Bruckner, Shostakovitch and Rimsky-Korsakov.
The Symphony Orchestra is intended to meet the needs of music students and very experienced amateurs.
Repertoire from the list below will be chosen for the summer school’s final concert of the week.
To ensure a place in the orchestra, it is advised that early application is made.
