This website describes the courses that were on offer in both 2020 and 2021 prior to the schools being cancelled.

This is to give you an idea of the range of courses, the expertise of our tutors and the standard of performance materials.

Katie Thomas conducts professional choirs and non-professional choruses throughout Europe. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, she is noted as a leading choral music specialist in the UK. Recent engagements include Guest Conductor for the BBC Singers and Guest Chorus Master of the MDR Radio Choir (Leipzig). Katie is artistic director and conductor of The Constellation Club, her own professional choir and orchestra. She is Assistant Conductor of the 250-voice Barts Choir of London and vocal coach and Assistant Chorus Master to the BBC Symphony Chorus. Katie is a visiting conductor to the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and the choirs of the Royal College of Music.

She is lead tutor in choral conducting technique for the Association of British Choral Directors and adjudicates at choral festivals worldwide for INTERKULTUR. In demand as a choral workshop leader, Katie is an Associate of the Come and Sing Company and presenter for the UK Choir Festival. As a professional soprano, Katie has performed with ensembles including The Monteverdi Choir (also acting as rehearsal assistant to Sir John Eliot Gardiner), Polyphony, the Academy of Ancient Music, Tenebrae and London Voices.  Other activities include recording CDs, film and video-game sessions, touring international concert venues and broadcasting on TV and national radio.

Simon Gregory studied music at Christ Church, Oxford under Simon Preston and Francis Grier and organ with Richard Popplewell, Nicholas Danby and Anne Marsden-Thomas. He works at Emanuel School, Wandsworth where he has held posts of Director of Music and Head of Lower School. He is also an administrator and accompanist for the Association of British Choral Directors Advanced and Intermediate Choral Conducting courses. As well as giving organ recitals throughout the UK, he has accompanied various choirs in concerts, workshops and at services in many English Cathedrals. He is also a past council member of ABCD and has held posts as Musical Director with several choral societies.
