Accommodation and Fees

Katie Thomas studied choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She is noted as a leading choral music specialist in the UK and is in great demand as a conductor, workshop leader and guest

Conductor.  Katie is artistic director and conductor of The

Constellation Club, her own professional choir and orchestra,

she is also vocal coach and assistant  chorus master to the

BBC Symphony Chorus and visiting  conductor  at  both  

the Royal College of Music and the National Youth Choirs of

Great Britain. Katie adjudicates at choral festivals worldwide

for Interkultur and teaches conducting technique for The

Association of British Choral Directors.     

Recent performances have included appearances with the BBC Singers both in concert and in studio recordings as well as making her international debut as chorus master with one of Germany’s premier professional choirs, the MDR-Chor at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig. As a professional singer Katie has performed worldwide with the Monteverdi Choir (also acting as assistant to Sir John Eliot Gardiner), Polyphony, the Academy of Ancient Music and Tenebrae at venues ranging from the Wigmore Hall in London to the Vienna Musikverein and Carnegie Hall in New York, USA.

Simon Gregory studied music at Christ Church, Oxford under Simon Preston and Francis Grier and organ with Richard Popplewell, Nicholas Danby and Anne Marsden-Thomas. He is Head of Lower School at Emanuel School, Wandsworth and administrator and accompanist for the Association of British Choral Directors Advanced and Intermediate Choral

Conducting courses. As well as giving organ recitals throughout the UK, he has accompanied various choirs in concerts, workshops and at services in many English Cathedrals. He is also a past council member of ABCD and has held posts as Musical Director with several choral societies.
