Piano Accompaniment

Nigel Hutchison director

30 July to 6 August 2023

A course for accompanists of all standards dealing with all aspects of piano accompaniment from sight-reading to performance on the concert platform. A limited number of places will be available for instrumentalists wishing to play the set repertoire - they are also encouraged to bring works of their own choice.

The following pieces will be studied in detail with a group of resident instrumentalists.  Student pianists will, in addition, have the opportunity to work with other instrumentalists and singers in the school.
