Scheme

With the benefit of our benefactors, we have been able to develop a number of scholarships tp enable a significant reduction of the summer school fees for music students aged 18 years and above who are in full-time education at the time of application.

All those wishing to take advantage of the scheme and who fulfil the following criteria should apply via the on-line APPLICATION FORM to be found at the foot of this page.

Acceptance on a course will depend upon

1. Receipt of a completed Application Form with verifiable educational status and the name of a suitable referee.

2. The availability of a place on the chosen course.

3. The student being of a sufficient standard to fulfil the requirements of the place on the course.

4. Payment, when requested, of a non-refundable registration fee of £100.00

FEES  inclusive of the registration fee

Resident students - fees include tuition,  all meals, dormitory accommodation and admission to all concerts, workshops and lectures for seven nights, Sunday to Saturday inclusive   £395.00 + vat

                                          

Non Resident students taking meals in the School -  fees include tuition,  morning coffee, lunch and dinner and admission to all concerts, workshops and lectures, Sunday to Saturday inclusive     £280.00 + vat

Non Resident students not taking meals in the School -  fees include tuition (participants only) and admission to all concerts, workshops and lectures, Sunday to Saturday inclusive    £140.00 + vat   

Payment of fees may be made either by

(a) Visa or Mastercard

(b) a cheque drawn in Sterling on a British bank and made payable to Sherborne Summer School of Music, or

(c) by bank transfer to   The Co-Operative Bank  Sort Code 08-92-99  Account no. 69735303.

An invoice for the balance of fees will be provided with confirmation of enrolment and is to be paid no later than 16 June 2023  Thereafter no refunds can be made and we recommend that you take out insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Applicants accepted after 16 June 2023 will be required to pay their balance of fees invoice upon receipt.

Payment of Fees by instalments   Upon receipt of the balance of fees invoice, it will be possible to settle the amount payable by instalments.  Please contact the Administrator to discuss a suitable payment plan.
